A company providing chemical products to a diverse range of industries is seeking a Refractory Technical Sales Representative to join their team. The successful candidates’ responsibilities will include to strengthen and expand current business with existing customers; atively develop new business, products and customers; facilitate with technical department in new product development, formulation assistance and optimization; develop and execute a sales and marketing plan for the region; prepare and implement annual sales and product forecast; maintain expenses within budget limits and provide service and sales reports to customers and management.

Key Requirements: A tertiary qualification in a science related field will be a distinct advantage; must have 3 – 5 years technical experience in the refractory industry; must have good analytical and communication skills and be able to communicate on multiple levels; must have a valid drivers’ license; must be a self-starter and highly motivated; must have basic knowledge (MS Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.).

Additional Requirements: Time management skills; excellent communication skills; analytical thinking; influential; self-starter; persuasiveness; commercial awareness.

Remuneration: Market related and dependent on experience.

Starting date: As soon as possible.
