EE candidate with minimum 7 years Short Term Insurance experience and minimum 2 years industry management experience, required for the Western Cape Region.

Promote, implement and develop this National Brokerage’s growth strategy across all lines of business and distribution channels in the region - specifically growing existing business, retention and new business development.

Minimum requirements:
• Grade 12
• Degree in Finance, Economics or Commerce
• Insurance qualification – minimum NQF5
• Risk Management qualification – Minimum NQF5
• FAIS compliant – credit and RE essential
• Minimum 7 years Short Term Insurance experience essential
• Minimum 2 years management experience essential
• Proven ability to lead business development function required
• Knowledge of marketing and sales principles required
• Product knowledge essential
• Technical insurance knowledge essential – advanced insurance and underwriting principles
• Risk management knowledge essential
• Understanding of financial statements, ratios and key indicators essential

Responsibilities:
• Talent management – identify, recruit , develop and performance management
• Learning and development – training, coaching, etc
• System and Process management – implement business development measurement systems, financial information accuracy, sales management forecasting
• Growth – revenue growth, attain budgeted revenue targets, ensure all managers in region have detailed revenue target plans in place, project management, new revenue opportunities
• Compliance with S15 of the FAIS Act
