Regional Finance Director (EE / AIC only)

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
Will report to the CFO and directly manage all treasury and corporate controller functions for the region.
JOB OBJECTIVES
• Ensure that all financial results, forecasts and budgets produced for the region represent a true and fair view of the financial performance of the region (Need to PROVE Africa experience!!) – MUST HAVE.
• Ensure that all statutory reporting requirements are fulfilled within each country that Client operates in within the region.
• As a member of the senior regional management team will participate and contribute to all strategic plan development and risk management activities with particular emphasis on the management of all treasury and financial risks.
• Consolidation of all regional management and financial accounts into one regional set of consolidated results and forecasts.
• Be responsible for the Broad Based Black Economic Empowerment (BBBEE) strategy and annual verification processes.
• In concert with Country Director/Managers and Country Financial Manager, manage all relationships with banks, taxation authorities, and auditors and any other relevant statutory bodies as required. This includes the management of all banking and bonding facilities within the region and ensuring that all banking covenant requirements are met.
• Management of Financial and Administrative overheads at regional level.

• Maintain standards of safety and comply with Company’s Health, Safety & Environment Management System requirements.
• Take reasonable care of one’s own health and safety and that of others in the workplace.
• Follow and maintain Company standards of Quality in accordance with Company Quality System requirements
EDUCATION SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• Must have Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or Finance and a recognised accounting qualification and experience in Financial and Management Accounting.
• 10 years of work experience in Financial Accounting in the Engineering Industry.
• Africa Accounting (Start up’s and maintains) – MUST HAVE
• Treasury and controller experience & Local/International bank knowledge.
• Analytical skills.
• IT experience.
• Team leadership.
• Reporting skills.
