They have a special emphasis on the African continent and the Indian Ocean Islands. The successful appointee will be expected to be the regional lead, delivering on key finance projects and involved in key IT projects. Supporting the Finance Director, Senior FM and regional commercial team.

CA(SA)

CIMA

ACCA



Skills & Experience:

FMCG experience preferable

Demonstrable experience managing a team of up to 10 people

SAGE 300 advantageous

Strong stock experience and minimizing risk around stock

Implementation of tight internal controls



Job Description:

Take ownership of the full accounting and finance function for the Johannesburg region, driving forward the decentralized finance model.

Providing control of the regional business units and strong financial management.

Responsible for the regional business unit and department record-to-report process flow, driving improvements and efficiencies on both the system and business process side.

Management of the stock system within the ERP which includes setting up a valuation checking process and managing the period – end cycle which includes stock.

Year-end audit preparation for both the group and the region.

Maintaining the Johannesburg region asset register and reporting on a group basis.
