Job title: Regional Head of Sales

Reports to: Divisional director

Division: Retail sales; ECM

Location & Department: Western Cape

Job purpose:
• To translate and implement the emerging consumer market business strategy in a specific region to ensure business growth, market share, profitability and sustainability of the business.

Qualification:
• Matric/NQF 4
• FAIS recognised qualification
• Relevant commercial qualification
• Leadership qualification
• RE 1

Experience:
• 3 - 4 years life insurance experience
• 5 years management experience in a sales environment within the financial services industry
• Experience within entry level markets
• At minimum be previously appointed as a supervisor
• 1 year long-term insurance subcategory A, B1 &B2 sales experience

Duties and Responsibility
• Develop regional strategic objectives, which includes a regional worksite strategy, aligned to Law
• Implement agreed regional business plans
• Monthly review of progress against business plans and implement corrective measures, if required, to achieve set objectives
• Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of the worksites marketing plan
• Ensure labour legislation is adhere to in all employment practices
• Develop, present and obtain approval for regional annual expense budget
• Manage and control expenses within allocated mandate/delegation of authority.

Salary : R50k negotiable on experience and qualifications
