Regional Manager with minimum 2 years experience in field mobilisation management, preferably in an NGO or Donor Funded Environment, required for a Medical Male Circumcision initiative.

Must be willing to travel provincially and nationally. Area responsibility will be Amajuba, Ethekwini, uMgungundlovu, uMzinyathi and uThukela.

Minimum requirements:
• Minimum 2 years experience in field mobilisation management
• Ability to monitor and evaluate results and increase efficiency
• Excellent planning and organising skills essential
• Confidentiality essential
• Possess/gain a working knowledge and understanding of PEPFAR/CDC processes
• Posses/gain knowledge of the broad requirements of operating as a PEPFAR Prevention Planner
• Possess/gain skills working with Provincial/District DoH, corporate and community stakeholders
• Experience in rolling out community mobilisation programmes preferred
• Own transport and valid driver’s license essential
• Must be willing to travel extensively – provincial and national

Responsibilities:
• Planning – refine and develop the broad strategy relating to field mobilisation
• Identify, recruit, manage and motivate multiple teams – Team Leaders, Team Co-ordinators and field mobilisers
• Define geographical regions – townships, groups or landmarks
• Assist in development of material required by mobilisers
• Coordinate mobilisation
• Represent organisation in local interaction with clinical partners and Provincial DoH
• Provide logistical team support to access specific areas
• Maintain team structure
• Marketing material to mobilisers
• Reporting – weekly meetings with local team leaders and management
• Weekly progress reports, MMC intake registers and activity forms, anecdotal reports
• Administration – liaise with head office re processing of data, claims, etc
• Staff and performance appraisals – set targets for mobilisers per regions, season and individuals
• Provide feedback to improve performance
• New staff – Personnel forms to management for all team members on monthly basis
