REGIONAL MANAGER – INDUSTRIAL ENGINEERING
CAPE TOWN

The role of the Regional Manager focuses on the management of 6 satellite branches in the Cape Town area.

You will be responsible for leading, guiding, motivating and managing around 80 staff members, including branch managers, admin, sales and general office staff in order to ensure that operational goals, standards and requirements are met.

You need to be bulletproof like Superman and as fast as The Flash to sidestep and handle IR / HR issues.
A champion Project Manager - Juggling Artist - to handle various projects and situations successfully.

You will be responsible for working with head office to set purchase prices, presenting extensive reports on tonnages and commodities purchased at all branches as well as ensuring that Health and Safety regulations are strictly adhered to.

Experience:
Degree or Diploma in management/ project management or related qualifications
Previous experience of at least 5 – 10 years of management experience in a Production /engineering/manufacturing/ project management environment.
Strong computer proficiency, including MS Word, Excel and Outlook
Health and Safety rules, regulations and procedures
Flexible and willing to work overtime
Ability to work independently
Ability to motivate the team
Ability to articulate thoughts and ideas clearly in written and oral communication.
Knowledge of ferrous and non-ferrous metals would be beneficial
