Regional Manager – Medical Scheme – Mafikeng

The position of Regional Manager is vacant. The Regional Manager will report directly to the Senior Manager:Client Liaison Offices and forms part of the Communication and Member Affairs Division. The position is based in Mafikeng.

Key Performance Areas (KPAs):
? Oversee that high standards are maintained by ensuring that the team produces excellent work
? Ensure that the Unit’s expenditure and procurement processes are line with the Scheme’s Supply Chain Management policies
? Ensure that a quality service is offered to members on-site
? Ensure queries resolved on-site are maintained at the required resolution rate
? Maintain positive Scheme member and stakeholders relationships and test these by engaging stakeholders directly
? Forge strategic links or partnerships with stakeholders through continued engagement
? Establish and maintain effective communication and integration with the Scheme’s Administration and telemarketing and member servicing team
? Prepare reports, analyse trends and submit recommended interventions on the operation of the Unit for management decision making
? Set performance targets, plans and goals for the Team Leaders
? Measure service performance of teams against predefined service metrics and provide recommendations for performance improvement
? Oversee that all new systems are effectively applied
? Ensure that the Client Liaison Office (CLO) risks are identified, assessed and mitigated
? Ensure that the Unit effectively represents the organisation’s brand, mission, vision and values at all times

Qualification requirements are:
? At least a relevant degree or National Diploma - NQF 6
? At least 6 years relevant experience, 3 years at management
? Previous experience at a medical scheme or in the healthcare industry would be an advantage
? Knowledge of public service departments and operations would be an advantage
? A valid driver’s licence and own vehicle
? Must be willing to travel at short notice
