A vacancy exists for a REGIONAL MANAGER in the manufacturing and distribution industry. My client is a leading manufacturer of raw ingredients to pet food, livestock, aquafeed, pharmaceuticals and fertilizer suppliers.

Key Functions:

• Assist with Logistical planning
• Sales
• Provide operational support to both frozen and dry divisions of company
• Operational planning regarding the upkeep of offices and fleet vehicles
• Provide support with all matters regarding raw material including logistics
• Planning around buying requirements
• Supervision of monthly stock levels as and when required
• Responsible for answering queries from Technical representative and Finance department arising from information reports
• Together with the Plant Manager, ultimately be responsible for timeous, reliable flow of information from the plant for Production and Finance reporting

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree with a Commercial slant (BCom or the like)
• 5 – 7 years’ experience in a commercial logistical and support role
• Proven track record with excellent references will be required
