Salary R40000/month negotiable

Our Client, a supplier of food products, is urgently looking for a Regional Operations Manager to carry out the main tasks of planning and management of logistics and the management of staff in the Gauteng Region.

Requirements:

Valid Matric/Grade 12 certificate
Valid SA drivers’ license
Relevant tertiary qualification
Minimum 7 - 10 years’ experience
Good interpersonal communication skills
Proven track record in the industry with contactable land line references

Key Performance Areas:

Comprehensive and advanced planning and management
To see that operations runs smoothly and on time
Ensuring service quality
Facilitating daily work of all operation centres
Service issue resolution and reporting
Ensuring operations staff, drivers and guides, adheres to procedures
Ensuring accurate roster of staff
Timeous and accurate projections with regard to resource requirements
Ensuring optimum resource utilisation and effective cost management
Staff management/disciplinary hearings
Works closely and reports to National Operations Manager
