Regional QA Manager - Midrand
MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB To direct and manage the Quality Assurance Management function in the Company with particular regard to quality assurance policies, procedures and activities in the business units and Regional Head Office. JOB OBJECTIVES To direct and manage the Quality Assurance Management function in the Company with particular regard to quality assurance policies, procedures and activities in the business units and Regional Head Office. ESSENTIAL WORK ACTIVITIES • Functional responsibility for QA and QC activities within the business units, including inter alia; - Development of policies, systems, procedures, work instructions; - Internal audits; - Special investigations; - Setting of objectives and review of progress; - Quality reporting; - Continuous improvement initiatives; - Implementation of IMS, Regional QMS, and business unit specific systems/procedures; - Client audits; - Training and development of QA/QC staff. • Responsible for the co-ordination of supplier and partner audits and for the development/maintenance of the approved supplier/partner database. • Responsible for reporting to the Executive Management Committee at Regional Level and for liaising with the Group QA Manager at Corporate Office. • Monitor developments in Quality Management, anticipate additional demands on the region and individual business units and prepare the region and business units for the implementation of future anticipated demands. • Identify and develop a successor. • Promote the awareness of the importance of Quality Management within the region. HSE AND QUALITY RESPONSIBILITIES Every Regional Quality Assurance Manager shall as far as is reasonably practical, ensure that the duties of his employer as contemplated in the OHS Act, Act 85, 1993, are properly discharged. EDUCATION SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE • Necessary technical experience in field of expertise. • Experience Managing QA in multiple projects. • Experience in the oil and gas industry • Detailed knowledge of the projects specifications and company and clients quality requirements for all disciplines. • + 10 Years experience.
