Top Building Materials manufacturer seeks Regional Sales Manager - Africa. To drive sales through large infrastructure deals in Africa.
Non-Negotiables (We will check):
* Strongly connected in Africa - Sub-Sahara, Central, East
* Able to Close Large Infrastructure Deals
* Contacts with Architects, Quantity Surveyors, Large Projects Guys. PPP and big contruction companies. Adv: Governments.
* Deep Expertise in Large Contract Management
* High Driver / Analytical
* Persuasive People Person
* 5+ years Experience Closing Large Infrastructure Deals in Africa
* 2+ years Large Contract Management
What the person must be able to do:
This role is in the Building Materials sector. All duties would take place in this context.
* Leverage your existing network across Africa to close large Building Materials deals
* Work with Architects, Quantity Surveyors, Large Projects Guys to ensure your products are specified in designs
* Grow revenue by 20+% per annum
* Manage Large Team of internal and external stakeholders
* Grow brand awareness in target markets
* Develop a deep expertise in product range and practical applications
* Present solutions to high-level industry and government officials
* Understand competitors and dominate industry
* Manage project budgets, pre-sales and post sales costs
* Ensure projects lucrative and profitable
* Coordinate project logistics such as delivery, payments, manpower
* Address contractual and technical issues
* Attend site meetings with clients and contractors

* Close Materials Contracts for Large Infrastructure Deals
* Manage Contracts to Ensure Timeous Delivery
* Stakeholder Management - On-site and Remotely
Background work experience:
* 5+ years Experience Closing Large Infrastructure Deals in Africa
* 2+ years Large Contract Management
* Adv: Construction or Engineering Qualification
* Large Contract and Project Management
* Construction and Infrastructure Industry
* Existing Relationships with Architects, Quantity Surveyors, Large Projects Guys. PPP and big contruction companies.
* Adv: Plumbing, Piping, Electrical, or Steel Exposure
