We are looking for Regional Sales Manager based in the Overberg or Heidelberg regions - for our client a leader in Agricultural Equipment Sales/ Engineering parts sales

Our ideal Regional Sales Manager is +40 years old, with at least 5 years senior level Sales/ KAM experience in agricultural equipment sector, is bilingual (fluent Afrikaans & English) and able to work independently as this will be a home office opportunity

REGIONAL SALES MANAGER – AGRICULTURAL ENGINEERING MACHINERY & PARTS

Area covered: Eastern Cape & Western Cape Provinces
Location: home office based either in the Overberg/ Swelllendam or Garden Route (Heidelberg) areas

Key Focus - To maintain key account clients and increase sales of locally manufactured and imported agricultural equipment and spares focused on servicing dealers
In the Western Cape and Eastern Cape regions

Duties
- Managing Key Account Dealers/ Clients
- Managing Budgets and Sales
- Building and maintaining all relationships
- Control of consignment stock at dealerships (spares etc)
- Organising and arranging shows and demos
- Facilitating and handling warranty claims
- Training of Dealers
- POS (Point of Sale) and promo materials
- All Sales and Marketing campaigns
- Farm site meetings and visits
- Pre-inspection of spares prior to delivery
- Dealer technical assistance (e.g. electronic, mechanical, hydraulics)
- report compilation
- updated and releasing all pricing figures
- Market analysis / competitor analysis
- Assist with research and development projects
- Assessment of market trends to assist new product development with the R&D (research and development) team


Must haves
- excellent agricultural sector experience
- PLUS 5 years agricultural engineering sales experience / engineering parts/ spares
- highly PC literate (MS Office e.g. MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel and Power Pointl)
- Minimum matriculation (Grade 12)
- fluent/ bilingual English & Afrikaans
- excellent client relationships

- ability to work independently
- able to travel extensively away from home e.g. Western & Eastern Cape Regions
- a home office and currently reside / relocate to Overberg/ Swellendam/ Heidelberg (Garden Route) areas

Salary package – negotiable at approximately R37k/ per month (i.e. R37k x 12 = R444k p/a incl co pension contribution) PLUS THE FOLLOWING
