We are urgently recruiting for a Regional Sales Manager who will be responsible for the development and performance of all sales activities in the region. You will be tasked with formulating, driving and managing the development and execution of the sales strategy and managing a team of sales consultants to achieve the delivery of sales targets

You will have:

• Relevant business related tertiary qualification e.g. B.Com degree is preferable
• CEA diploma is an advantage
• Previous mobile sales and sales management experience (5-7 years) within the property and home loans/bond origination industry is essential.
• Exposure to Home Loans processes and systems is an advantage.
• Financial Management related experience
- Activity based costing
- Financial analysis (evaluating and identifying trends)
• Leadership and Management skills training e.g. MDP, Leadership Development Programme is an advantage
• A sound conceptual understanding of the property industry in SA and the impact of the economy on property values within the local market area, taking into account risk factors.
• A thorough in-depth understanding of property classifications and zoning.
• A sound conceptual understanding of property investment market, rental and leasing trends.
• Experience leading/managing a team - and achieving targets through them

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Actively providing guidance, promoting, selling and facilitating the structuring of diverse and/or customised home/ property loan solutions to secure business growth targets
• Preparing and setting financial budgets/forecasts for the Region across sales channels, in line with strategic objectives, business/operational risk, socio-political and economic market forces in the Region
• Implementing and tracking lead generation systems and processes for the Region, ensuring that all leads are followed up and converted to sales. Leverages alliance partnerships e.g. banks, estate agents and developers, aggregators and attorneys in the Region etc. to source new business and to identify opportunities for sales expansion
• Implementing processes to monitor and manage sales capacity and to manage the best fit between sales consultants, channels and target market areas for optimal performance.
• Implementing controls to monitor and ensure compliance with legal requirements pertaining to property sales and Home Loan policies, procedures and practices followed by banks.
• Managing Sales staff in the Region to ensure that targets, work and quality standards are set, achieved and maintained throughout the customer experience

Location: Successful incumbent will primarily be based in Pretoria.
