My client is a global research & consulting firm based in Johannesburg seeking a senior sales professional to lead their research and consulting business within the Telecom & Public sector  across Africa. 

This individual must possess an excellent sales track record and management of a team; will be tasked to establish and maintain a network of contacts in the strategy/marketing departments of Telecom players in the region, to position the company as the go to partner for all market information and solving multitude of challenges which need information from the market.

> Provide market strategy consulting, qualitative and quantitative recommendations, CIO advisory services

> Understand business challenges with the identified customers and create business demand

> Increase market penetration through expansion of current products within major accounts, and identifying new business opportunities

> Strategic account planning including new account development surrounding multiple products & services, and incremental growth of existing accounts.

> Preparation of annual sales plan, monthly forecasts and submission of final results.

> Support regional teams across Africa in their business development activities with the telecom service providers

> Identify main decision makers for up-selling and cross selling opportunities
