Regional Sales Manager
Introduction

Our client in the Pharmaceutical Industry is looking for a Regional Sales Manager. The Main Purpose for the role is to ensure that the sales team achieves sales targets for the Region and ensure that the team grow direct sales through targeted pharmacies.
Description

Key Responsibilities:

To lead a team of Representatives calling on the Pharmacy and Expert Channel to promote and sell a basket of brands in line with set KPI’s
Responsible for effective recruitment, territory management, implementation of SFE systems ie. Med-e-Rep & E-sales Aid
Coaching and developing and motivating the Sales Team to ensure timeous and accurate implementation of Marketing Strategies
Drive high performing behavior with the team
Responsible for the implementation of the territory Segmentation and Targeting process in close co-operation with the SFE Analyst.
Plan, optimize and measure all investment done in the territory for optimal ROI
Ensure all required paperwork is done and monitored in line with KPI’s, SOP’s & compliance requirements
Prepare individual customer budgets and sales plan.
Work with reps in field on a regular basis. Coaching and mentoring.
Share product and sales knowledge.
Implementing Category management.
Complied reviews and communicated objectives
2 Weekly sales meetings. Discuss targets, problem solving, promotions, sales planning, products training and strategies.
Ensure targets are met for the Month, Quarter and Year.
Motivate and keep team focus, positive and play above target.
Ensure team stay highly motivated and result driven
Lease and set targets for Key accounts and Whole sale customers.
Ensure Wholesale targets are met and promotions executed.
