Qualification:

Matric completed

Diploma or BCom degree in sales or marketing

Completion of FAIS RE1 examination



Skills & Experience:

Minimum 3 years’ sales experience within a B2B environment

Minimum 2 years sales experience within the insurance industry

Minimum of one-year management experience

Strong understanding of accounting principles in terms of profit, loss and sales margins



Job Description:

Hands on development of sales and marketing plan for the region.

Take control of the sales strategies to acquire new business.

Ensure to plan, implement and monitor the agreed sales plan to ensure annual sales and profit objectives are exceeded.

Ensure to create marketing opportunities and develop tools to increase business.

Focus on sales and business development presentations.

Actively create and execute report account strategies.

Provide training and sales support to existing clients.

Actively retain and increase market shares in existing business.

Ensure to report on the sales metrics monthly.

Oversee the debtors, claims and expenses.

Recruit, coach, train and manage the sales force.

Actively build and maintain quality and sustainable business relationships.

Ensure compliance with FAIS, FICA and TCF.

Make sure due diligence is completed for all new businesses.

Hands on driving of compliance with relevant regulatory and legal requirements.
