Introduction: Vacancy has arisen for position of Registered Nurse in Orthopaedic Ward. We are seeking to recruit nurses who are interested in challenges of working in a dynamic and critical healthcare environment. Duties and Responsibility:
• Conduct basic duties as allocated by the Unit Manager.
• Ensuring that unit is run according to acceptable legal standards.
• Maintaining excellent patient and customer care in accordance.
• Maintaining sound relationships and communication with patients, relatives and the multi-disciplinary team.
• Building professional relationships with doctors and therapists to promote patient/doctor interaction.
• Maintaining all Health, Safety and Infection Control Standards.
Requirements:
• Applicants need to be qualified nurses and be registered with S.A.N.C.
• Some experience in various environments would be advantageous.
• Competencies required are good people management skills, an ability to work under pressure as part of a team, leadership and performance orientation.
• Teamwork and strong customer orientation is essential.
• Have to be able to work flexi hours.
