About the job:

Our Client who is based in Johannesburg and has servicing contracts with various mines in the North West, Mpumalanga and other areas, has permanent positions for a suitably qualified Regulation 2.6.1 Site Manager.
The purpose of the position is to take responsibility for the team and its activities on a daily basis with regards to Safety, Work related issues, productivity and scope of work.
Training will be given where a gap exists in current competency.
Preferably, the incumbent should be a Qualified Sect 13 or Sect 26 (MERSETA) Auto Electrician by Trade.

THIS POSITION HAS NO FOREIGN QUOTA.

Basic Salary R 30 000 including Benefits. Vehicle allowance will be considered in some instances.

Qualifications and Experience

• Section 13/ Sect 26 MERSETA or MITB Trade Test Certificate
• Strong sense of responsibility and accountability for safety
• Strong people skills
• Trade Certificate in Automotive Air Conditioning
• Strong Experience on earthmoving machines
• Experience on Cat, Liebherr, Komatsu and Bell
• 5 to 7 years’ post Trade Test experience
• Exceptional skills in diagnostics, troubleshooting and rewiring
• Mining experience essential
• Clear Credit and Criminal Record
