A leading international bank is seeking a Hunter profile for their organisation. Strong Relationship building skills with excellent sales ability at branch level!!!

POSITION  :              RELATIONSHIP CONSULTANT
LOCATION  :              BOKSBURG  
SALARY      :              R 350 000 - R 550 000 CTC DEP on EXP.

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • MUST have completed Matric
  • Tertiary Degree Highly Advantageous
  • MUST reside within the Boksburg area
  • MUST come from the Banking industry
  • Strong sales and Business development experience
  • Minimum 2 to 3 years in Sales at Branch level.
  • MUST beable to land new clients for the Bank

 

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

The Business Development Consultant is required to interact with customers for most part of his/her day. They will be responsible for the achievement of the branch targets and objectives as well as play a key role in acquiring and maintaining good client relationships.  
 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • To proactively develop the bank's overall business and achieve business targets , ie growth in deposits , advances , foreign exchange(not essential ) business and profitabilty.
  • To identify business opportunities and target markets for the bank both locally and nationally.
  • To market the bank as an International Bank with opportunities in foreign trade services and to bring in new investments in terms of foreign exchange and revenue for the bank.
  • To take responsibility for the achievement of branch objectives, in particular to achieve targets related to generating new business with an aim to grow the bank,opening accounts, deposits and advances. 
  • To promote, the bank and manage and maintain a cordial working relationship with the clients. 
  • To develop new products  and to mentor and train staff to understand new products in order to improve growth . 
  • To implement proper procedures to prevent any misrepresentation to customers whose rights should be respected and protected at all times.
  • To ensure that all operational and financial reporting is performed in a timely and accurate manner. 
  • To protect and promote the brand of the bank. 
  • To embrace a “Working Together” culture.
