AA20254 - A Large Resort Group, with the Head Office Based in Pretoria. Sales: Gauteng Market. The candidate must have the following qualifications: Demonstrated experience in Marketing, in the Hospitality and Self-catering Industry environment (at least four years). Tertiary qualification in a Marketing or related field or equivalent.Duties will include the following: Core Purpose of Position: To build and sustain the Company as a leading brand in the self-catering and leisure accommodation market resulting in increased occupancyrates and revenue at all Resorts in line with the already devised Marketing Plan.This entails planning, and coordinating the marketing of the organization's range of products by performing the following duties personally or through team members at the resorts.Strategic planning: Assist in developing and executing marketing plans and programs, both short and long term, and based on marketing goals to ensure theprofit growth and expansion of the company through measurable.The Company Brand Management: Build brand and portfolio awareness, introduce and maintain a sensory brand strategy, generate brand equity with their clients, develop and maintain Internal branding strategy and merchandising branded products on site.Experience Management / Special Projects: assist in developing, a plan and implement promotional programs/sponsorships and retail and supplier partnerships (guide Resort strategies, events and fusion marketing opportunities) as well as Product Experience Management strategies with individual ResortsMarket research: Research, analyze, what the competition is doing and look for opportunities that can enhance our position in the market place.Data base management: Coordination and cross pollination of prospect, sales and customer databases and generating prospects/leads for conversion campaigns. Management of CRM database.Internal Customer relationships: Liaise with Resorts and General Managers & Support Resorts with implementation of individual marketing plans and ongoing crosspollination and integration with support departments through smooth flowing administration and communicationAdvertising and promotion activities: Plans and oversees the organization's advertising and promotion activities including conceptualising and producing, forboth portfolio and products the generic promotional material, the campaigns and print advertising, copy and scripts required at all points (inclusive of Website), Guerrilla marketing tactics and special initiatives for calendar events.The candidate must have the following skills: Valid (un-endorsed) Drivers LicenceAbility to read, analyze, and interpret common Hospitality and Self-catering journals, financial reports, and legal documents.Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format.Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and other interest groups.Must understand the principles of marketing and advertising cost-effectiveness, including market sector targeting, product offer development, features-benefits solutions selling, cost per response, cost per conversion.Must be an excellent face-to-face and telephone communicator.Ability to respond to unexpected demandsService OrientedAppreciates a variety of culturesEnergetic and self-motivatedEnjoy working with and interacting with people and the general publicMust be able to converse fluently (read, write and speak) in EnglishWillingness to travel.
