One of our clients is looking for an individual to take up the Relationship Manager Role and become part of the team!

Introduction
• Company requires the services of a suitably qualified, well-motivated and results driven candidate to be appointed in the above mentioned vacant position

Duties Include but not limited to the following:
• Maintain and grow the client base
• Initiate and maintain contact with prospective clients and assess their financial needs based on various agricultural products
• Promote the company’s products and services
• Budget Management including providing input for the budget formulation and monitoring of expenditures and costs against the budget
• Sales of Financial Products including Completing and submitting credit application forms for clients and motivation of approvals by providing a comprehensive needs analysis relevant to the clients requirements
• Liaise with clients regarding progress on applications
• Advise clients in event of declined or approval of applications with conditions
• Ensure that client limits are loaded and that clients are kept informed
• Ensure that client offers and/or contracts are signed and returned to the Compliance Department for securities and safekeeping
• Handling of client queries
• Management of Marketing team in the region, including facilitation of applicable skills training
• Liaise with various divisions within Company’s including external stakeholders
• Sourcing and successfully implementing BEE transactions
• Drafting BEE credit policy and BEE products and procedures
• Liaise with financial institutions and government to fund BEE transactions and to look at risk sharing options
• Ad Hoc duties

Requirements:
• Relevant B Degree or equivalent
• 10 years’ experience in related industry
• Drafting of BEE credit policy, products and procedures
• Ability to manage region according to budget
• Sales and marketing orientated
• Analytical and problem solving skills
• Proven record of success in commercial lending environment
• Good interpersonal skills
