Job Description:

Creating and executing strategies to assist with the improvement of mining equipment whilst ensuring the reliability of the mining equipment
Initiate and apply relevant data received to identify and investigate possible company probability loss
Identify possible opportunities for improvement
Establishing root causes whilst promoting the corrective actions using problem solving software
Actively attending reliability review meetings
Mentoring the mine cost and savings whilst seeking opportunities for increased production and extending equipment life and cost of cycles
Reviewing the computerized maintenance management system for order history of the equipment to perform reliability centered maintenance
Reporting on the performance produced by the mines which may include overall equipment use and time lost between failures
Monitoring improvement tasks to ensure mine sustainability
Assisting technical, production and maintenance teams with technical advice whilst ensuring asset reliability improvement and controlling life cycle costs.
Safety, health, environment and quality commitment
Applying advanced computer skills to work practices
Knowledge of utilization and integration of prevention tools

Minimum Requirements:

National Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or recognized B-Degree
5+ Years working experience in a mining, engineer or maintenance environment
Relevant engineering experience within a plant and mining equipment with experience of fault finding
Working knowledge of reliability engineering foundations
