POSITION: Property Rental Portfolio Manager
LOCATION: Cape Town
TYPE: Permanent

OVERVIEW:
National property letting group requires a Portfolio Manager for their Cape Town office. Must have experience in acquiring new business, marketing, tenant vetting and managing a portfolio of rental properties, lease agreements, queries and maintenance. Own car and valid license essential.

REQUIREMENTS:
• Matric
• Tertiary education preferable
• Some real estate / rental experience (commercial/retail property management sector)
• Computer literate
• Must have driver’s license and own transport
• Must be willing to work afterhours to do viewings, inspections and handover of keys to new tenants

REMUNERATION:
• Basic salary: R12 000.00 per month (after probation incentive earning potential per year is R37-R50k+)
• Company reimburses work related mileage of personal vehicle
• Company cellphone; Company laptop + 3G

ROLE:
• Acquire new business - Ensure delivery and follow up of existing and any new marketing strategies
• Marketing
· Creating a campaign
· Area & market price research
· Spot checking of online advertisements
· Viewings (arranging & hosting show-days) in conjunction with the Portfolio Administrator
· Recording & monitoring lead data
• Tenant Vetting – in conjunction with Portfolio Administrator:
• Updating lead progress status
• Portfolio Management
• Utilities management
• Handover to tenants
• Inspections
• Monthly portfolio reports
• Tenant / lease management
