The purpose of the role will be to assist the Head of Finance with reporting the figures and adding value by interpreting and adding valuable commentary to the figures. CA(SA) – non-negotiable



Skills & Experience:

2 – 3 years Commercial experience

Financial Services exposure – beneficial

Strong IFRS

Strong Excel skills

Reporting experience

SAP or other ERP systems knowledge and skills – essential



Job Description:

The overall purpose of the position will be to take full responsibility and ownership of data retrieval, collation thereof, storage, reporting and presentation of figures to be used in stakeholder reporting. A key emphasis will also be placed on building and maintaining relationships with the accounting and operational African teams, so as to ensure buy-in and ultimately ensure timeous reporting.

Outputs include: Ensuring compliance in all extracted information; streamlining the uploading of any new data on an on-going basis; liaising with necessary finance departments regarding the relevance of the received information; monthly reporting on management accounts, interim and year end packs, board reports as well as group reports (when required); submitting reports to all stakeholders; ensuring adherence to best practice through assessing reporting mechanisms; assistance on any ad-hoc projects including budgets, reviewing and releasing payments and other projects.
