Quickberry (Pty) Ltd, a leading Mergers & Acquisitions Consultancy, is seeking a PGT/Research Assistant to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be professionally presented, exhibit strong telephone etiquette and administrative skills.

Duties include but are not limited to (Research):

- Prospect qualification by necessary means (telephone, Internet, database) obtaining size of company and number of employees
- Typing of research documents (research list, research brainstorm presentation, client presentation etc)
- Arrange Research Brainstorm meeting, research, compile and circulate sector research and agenda prior to meeting and compile and circulate minutes post-meeting
- Bulk uploading of project prospects to system/s and updating system/s with new additional information which includes research notes, qualifying information, parent and subsidiary information
- Creation and continuous growth of BEE listed companies, Private Investors and Private Equities database
- Supplementary research elements that include identifying new prospects and data sources
- Compile and maintain lists of industry specific associations, exhibitions and other data sources
- Proactively solicit, monitor and report on project milestones pertaining to the role and updating milestones on system/s

Duties include but are not limited to (Prospect Generation Team):

- Point of contact telephone verification (Local & International prospects) ensuring all prospects have accurate contact information and updated on necessary system/s at least 1 week prior to project going Live To Market
- Provide team/manager with written reporting regarding the progress of the calling process (NDA return rate, failure to respond rate, analysis of performance by research category)
- Arrange MAP, Milestone and Close-Out meeting for all projects, compile and circulate standard progress reports and agenda prior to meetings and compile and circulate minutes post-meeting
- Additions of new prospects to projects as identified by team and monitoring of prospect until approved by Project Manager
- System/s prospect record maintenance
- Proactively solicit, monitor and report on project milestones pertaining to the role and updating milestones on system/s
- Processing of prospect outcome (screen outs, saving NDA’s etc) when required
- To conduct Looking To Acquire calls, updating system/s records and circulating information to the team

Minimum Requirements:

Matric Certificate
Call centre experience: In- or Outbound advantageous
Computer literacy, especially in MS Office Suite and Internet
Exceptional attention to detail
Excellent command of the English language, both spoken and written is essential
Strong admin focus
Customer service orientation
Own vehicle
