Job brief
We are looking for a reliable Researcher that will be responsible for the design, execution, and delivery of research & consulting projects from taking a brief to presenting the results to stakeholders as well as across various platforms.

A strategist at heart, the Researcher will have the ability to translate research findings into business insights that add value to our organisation and growing list of clients and other relevant stakeholders. The Researcher should also have the ability to confidently present their work & other deliverables to different audiences.

Researcher Responsibilities
• To contribute to the vision and leadership of the organisation’s research & strategy function;
• To scope out, develop and develop research & strategy projects as per the engagements won and assigned by the management team;
• To be the lead researcher & writer of the company’s research & strategy engagements;
• To build and maintain the profile of the company’s research function both internally & externally;
• To manage the administrative and financial requirements of the company’s research function;
• Responsible for end-to-end management of research & strategy engagements projects;
• Conducting in-depth data analyses using traditional and advanced methods;
• Preparing briefs and commissioning research;
• Client development and management;
• Reporting & presentation;
• To build a financial & economic modelling capability within the organisation to augment research & strategy engagements delivered by the organisation
• Building a personal & company profile through a media presence including TV appearances, article publications and conference presentations
• To train & manage the research team including the sharing of best practice, and continuous improvement of staff to ensure the organisation delivers world-class services to its growing list of clients

Requirements
• A degree in Economics, Finance, Research
• A Master’s degree in Finance, Business, Project Management & / or Evaluation
• 3-5 years work experience; including research engagements & deliverables both from a professional services or industry viewpoint
