Reservationist

Large 5* Hotel - Sandton - Gauteng.

2 year’s experience in a 4* or 5* Reservations Position.

Opera “Individual and Group/ Block Reservations” .

To ensure that all reservations requested are entered into the system.

To check all reservations/bookings downloaded from Central Reservation Office,

confirm and send correspondence where necessary

Ensuring that reservation policies and procedures regarding payments, confirmations,

terms and conditions are effectively adhered to, and in line with a 5 Star Hotel as well as Leading Hotels of the World Standards.

To assist the Sales & Marketing department in promoting and selling the Hotels and the facilities to prospective guests.

Minimum Grade 12 & Hotel School Diploma or National Qualification equivalent.

Experience with OTA ExtraNET platforms

Basic Computer skills (Windows literate)

Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications

Excellent Administration Skills

Excellent Telephonic Communication Skills

Able to work under pressure

Able to work shift work and Weekends on a rotational basis

Salary R 9 000 including company benefits.
