RESERVATIONIST – 5 STAR HOTEL
A great opportunity exists for an experienced Reservationist within a leading 5 star Hotel based in the Southern Suburbs of Cape Town. The primary focus will be to facilitate guest’s bookings and support all departments to ensure an exceptional guest experience.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
• Minimum Grade 12
• 2 to 3 years Reservations and client liaison experience in high end properties required
• Excellent command of the English language – verbal and written (international clients)
• Own transport and valid driver’s licence is required
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
• Sound financial acumen
• Knowledge and ability to compile reservation and financial reports
• Operational experience within a high end property
• Sound OPERA property management system knowledge and experience
• Knowledge and experience with regards to maintaining good communication channels with all suppliers, industry colleagues and other 5 star hotels
• Experience with regards to financial management of payments, budgets, expenditure, communication and management of guest data to the relevant departments
