Reservations and Sales Consultant
Area: Pretoria East

Full time position
Salary:
• Basic salary (no benefits) + commission
• Basic salary R10-8K CTC PM
Qualification:
• Grade 12
• Tertiary qualification in marketing / sales / hospitality advantageous
Experience:
• Excellent, proven track record in outbound telesales (top biller!)
• Hospitality industry experience / knowledge highly advantageous
Skills:
• Strong outbound telesales skills
• Ambitious, target-driven
• Excellent organisational and administrative skills
• Ability to work in a highly pressured environment

Responsibilities:
Administration (50%)
Reservations:
• Handle availability inquiries, reservations, cancelations, as well as guest confirmation letters
• Gather and capture guest information for booking and confirmation purposes
• Ensure that guest details are captured correctly in the correct date slot in the booking journal
• Confirm type of booking with guest: Points, Bed & Breakfast booking and rates payable
• Handle billing and check-out procedures
• Provide guests with information on onsite facilities and the surrounding area
Confirmation:
• Confirm booking - received deposit
• Confirm booking - full payment
• Timeshare confirmations:
This document (confirmations) will be in possession of the guests and therefore the booking list / arrival sheet will be the resort's confirmation
• Arrival sheet contain all relevant info to all departments to do their own in-house planning for service support
• Confirm the following recipients:
Reception at the Resort
Booking and confirmation system

General administration:
• Keep all bookings on file with proof of payment
• Update all online portals and websites on tariffs - Expedia, etc (contract on file)
• Set up system rates and packages and load onto the system
• Load Nightsbridge rates and specials
• Take online credit card deposits
• Reconcile online payments to rooms/units
• STO contracts for operators, agents (set up, send and file)
• Space banking control of Chalet 3 for Directors and Trust
• Handle bookings
• Post lost and found to guests
• Receive all deliveries for the resort
• Brochure Management - distribution of brochures
• Arrange for transfers for guests
• Redemption of vouchers for deals (Groupon, City Slickers, Daddy's Deal etc) after bookings are made and confirmations are sent

Sales / Business Development / Marketing (50%)
• Convert existing leads that are currently being generated through various business initiatives into telesales (reservations)
• Proactively generate new business leads (B2C and B2B), and convert them into telesales (reservations)
• Proactively investigate new ways to grow and develop the marketing and business development function – support Marketing Manager
