Looking for a Reservations Consultant to book hotels for tour groups.

? Have a basic geographical knowledge of Southern Africa
? Team work and enthusiasm to assist colleagues
? Energetic and have a passion for learning about travel
? Time management: ability to prioritise, plan and meet deadlines
? Effective written and verbal communication skill
? Take initiative and ensure attention to detail
? Be professional and offer high service levels at all times
? Understanding and experience on Google (Gmail, Drive, Sheets, etc.) advantageous
? Understanding and experience on Tourplan advantageous
? Formal hospitality education advantageous

Key job functions
? Responsible for booking various hotels for tours
? Send booking requests to hotels from Tourplan
? Send cancellation confirmations to hotels from Tourplan when bookings are not going to materialise within the specified cancellation window
? Alert sales consultants of any problems with hotel bookings (e.g. no availability)
? Prepare control worksheets to check bookings on regular basis and report back to manager
? Confirm hotels on Tourplan
