With this in mind, we seek to appoint a Reservations Manager who meet these criteria.Manage and oversee all aspects of the hotel reservations systems and services the through the reservations teamMust be result driven in maximizing revenues to achieve budgets and forecastsSupport the Revenue Manager through providing accurate information pertaining to the market, forecasting, and other revenue management strategiesBe able to update the daily information in the Revenue Diary, and take on other Revenue Management duties in the absence of the Revenue ManagerResponsible for all departments that may take reservation calls and make bookings, create profiles, make a group block etc to adhere to QPR standards including Reservations, Front Office and the Sales/Events DepartmentØManage room’s inventory to ensure maximum hotel occupancy at the highest possible rates and ensure full payment is obtained prior to arrival where necessaryFull working knowledge of OperaResponsible for all group bookingsContinuously endeavors to improve the department’s efficient corporation though briefing, meetings, training etcMaintain and promote excellent working relationship with all clientele and other departmentsØProven Reservations experience and be able to supervise and train all Reservation Sales AgentsThe successful candidate needs to have at least two years experience in the similar role in a similar size five star propertyTeam player with strong interpersonal skillsRequires excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and a good command of the English languageBe driven to achieve results but must have an enthusiastic and flexible approachMust be able to use own initiative and work under pressureMust be computer literate in Word, Excel, email, internet and GDS bookingsExcellent attendance record and no disciplinary action within the past 12 months If you are interested in the above position, please submit a motivational letter and CV to [Please apply below] by no later than Friday, 28 November 2014.
