A well-known international consulting firm is looking for a Resident Engineer to assist on a SANRAL roads project. Based in Gauteng, this position is for a limited duration contract.

Applicants should have a BEng or B-Tech in Civil Engineering, and at least five years’ of relevant roads experience. Candidates must also be registered with ECSA as a Professional Engineer or Professional Engineering Technologist. Experience working on SANRAL road projects is also preferred. Thorough knowledge of pavement materials, concrete and surfacing aggregate, quality management and excellent administrative skills is also a key requirement for this role. The incumbent will be responsible for the overseeing of work, ensuring adherence to the Conditions of Contract and specifications of plans, and liaising with the contractor.
