Limited duration contract of 18 months

Reporting directly to the Project Engineer

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
BSc / BEng or BTech in civil engineering.
Registration with ECSA as a professional engineer or professional technologist.
Minimum 7 years’ experience on supervision of large road projects.
Experience on SANRAL projects will be an advantage.
Experience of major road works and bridges will be an advantage.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Resident engineer for a road construction project on a provincial road.
Manage day-to-day supervision of the project.
Manage site supervision team.
Measurement and agreement of quantities for payment.
Preparation of monthly payment certificates.
Preparation of monthly reports to client.
