Opportunity for a Restaurant Manager position in a well-established restaurant in Eastgate.
The candidate will be the General Manager and responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Complete management of the restaurant
Opening and Closing of the Restaurant
Managing all interactions with guests and staff
Motivating and training and organising of the staff
Maintaining quality excellence and top service in a high pressure environment
Ensuring proper management of stock

Qualifications/Requirements:
Minimum 5 years experience as a Restaurant Manager
Grade 12
Hospitality Degree/Diploma a plus
Excellent knowledge of beverages and wines a plus
Computer skills: proficient in Microsoft Office and Micros
Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to multitask in an upscale, high volume environment with efficiency
Assertiveness and able to lead others and positively influence employee behavior
The ideal candidate should be enthusiastic, energetic, passionate, creative and be a team player – he/she should be able to take initiative and go the extra mile
Be restaurant fit and be able to work within a stressful environment, serve at least 100 customers.

Salary – R17 000 – R20 000 (negotiable)
