We are looking for an experienced RESTAURANT MANAGER to join this well established Gastro-Pub in Newlands. Being one of the oldest pubs in South Africa, this establishment is a very popular meeting place for locals as well as tourists. It offers delicious gastro-pub menu with a large selection of draught beer, whiskey bar, fine wines and cocktails. Large wide screen TVs offer variety of sports to chose from.

Skills and requirements needed:

at least 5 years experience from high volume restaurant / pub
ability to manage large team / lead by example
very good knowledge of Industrial Relations
ability to work under pressure
quick thinking / problem solving
training and coaching
very good operational knowledge
ability to work with budgets
ability to work retail hours / Public Holidays
passion and commitment to business
