Retail Area Manager & Relief Store Manager (Paints / coatings)

Educational Requirements:
Matric (Must have)

Experience Requirements:
At least 3 - 4 Years retail experience in management position
MUST HAVE experience in sales of paint / coatings
Able to meet targets
Good with numbers, budgets and admin
Computer literate in Microsoft Office, POS etc.
Well-spoken and well presented
Own Transport (able & willing to travel between branches)

Responsibilities:
Daily management of stores & staff
Staff planning & training
Budgeting
Expense control
Sales management & target achievements
Recommend, plan & supervise sales & incentive, promotional programs within all stores
Marketing campaigns & reporting thereon
Merchandising strategies
Analysing figures and forecasting to ensure sales & profit
Driving turnover, achieving targets
Acquiring new business
CRM management
Stock control, managing levels, losses & rotation
Coordinating all stores stock takes
Ensuring stores housekeeping
Managing the colour procedure
Staff management & dealing with HR related matters
Ensuring adherence to policies
Attending to customer complaints & ensuring customer service
Ensuring satisfactory standards
Relief of store managers when needed
Managing lease extensions
Building & maintaining relationships
Responsible for equipment, cash & banking
Reporting

Additional info:
Salary R17 000 – R20 000 gross per month + performance-based comm.
Working hours: Monday – Friday 7:30am – 4:30pm, Saturdays 8am – 12pm
Must be willing to work weekends
Own transport and willing to travel to branches on East Rand & in Northern suburbs
