A Leading Retail Company with specialisation in photography and printing is looking for a cashier.
The successful candidate will be in permanent contact with clients, ringing up product sales and receiving payments. Depending on the type of business, their duties may vary quite a bit; they may have various departmental tasks to do.

In general, their day-to-day duties involve the following:

• Count money in cash drawers at the beginning of shifts to ensure that amounts are correct and that there is adequate change.
• Greeting and acknowledge the clients
• Informing customers
• Reserving items for customers
• Establishing or identifying prices of goods
• Keying in or scanning the price of merchandise
• Determining the total price
• Receiving payments
• Controlling and checking outgoing merchandise
• Receiving payments (cash/credit/debit cards) and reconciling them with total sales
• Preparing deposits, closing the till and putting back the float
• Maintaining clean and orderly checkout areas
• Compute and record totals of transactions.
• Issue receipts, refunds, credits, or change due to clients
