Leasing Manager

A leading skin care brand, is seeking an unrelenting deal closer Specialty Retail Leasing Manager for a challenging and rewarding opportunity, based in Cape Town.

The essence of this role is to secure appropriate retail/specialty retail spaces in major malls and airports for our brand.

Key Responsibilities

• Work relentlessly to secure retail spaces for our brand in the appropriate locations
• Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with the leasing managers at our target shopping malls, airports etc.
• Negotiate terms and lead to signing lease agreements
• Leverage these relationships to maximize revenue opportunities for our brand
• Ensure regular reporting to management relating to progress and market issues
Job Requirements
• Experience as leasing/specialty leasing manager of a shopping mall or leasing manager for a retail/wholesale company – a strong advantage!
• High level of persistence and tenacity
• An entrepreneurial and driven approach to new business
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills
• Out-of-the-box thinking
• Fluent in English, written and oral. Additional languages - advantage
• Proficient in MS Office
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• High level of personal integrity
• Strong ability to quickly resolve problems
• Professional and well-groomed appearance
• Availability for travel
• Ability to multi-task
• Strong customer service background and good networking skills
• Reliable transportation
• Clean criminal record

Salary: +/-R17, 500 plus commission, cell and petrol
