Description: This 5* Luxury Safari Lodge, situated in a private Big 5 Game Reserve in Mpumalanga is currently looking for a Retail Manager. This intimate and exclusive Lodge caters to discerning local and international guests. Join an up-market, award-winning lodge and be a part of a national hospitality group, with properties countrywide with room for growth within the group. This position will report to the Lodge Manager and is essentially for Guest Experience and Guest focus. We are looking for an individual who is friendly, calm, confident and efficient with guests, and can create a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The Retail Manager is responsible for the day-to-day running of the Safari Shops at two of the property s 5* Lodges. The aim is to maximise profit while minimising costs, ensure stock is promoted and merchandised to the company standard while maintaining excellent levels of guest service. A focus will be to help Guests in identifying and purchasing required goods and services, as well as management and updating of POS system. Duties will include, but not limited to administration, stock control and purchasing, as well as updating pricing and setting up of displays.
