RETAIL OPERATIONS MANAGER – AMERICAN FASHION BRAND

The ability to think and plan strategically as well as ensure robust retail processes are implemented and followed will be highly desirable. The ability to communicate up and down the management chain as well as possessing proven financial experience will be hallmarks of the successful candidate. Job Requirements:
?Education: University Degree in Business Administration or Retail Operations
?Experience:6-8 years of experience with International Retail brand.
?Linguistic skills: Excellent English and Afrikaans
?Personality Traits: Outstanding Communication and Interpersonal abilities; Strong result orientation & creativity; sharp business acumen
Responsibilities:
?Ensure very high retail standards
?Handling overall responsibility of the brand –sales/inventory management, marketing, Visual merchandising and retail operations.
?Achieving sales targets
?All retail staff related matters, including staff hiring, training, incentivizing, periodic appraisals & counselling, mystery shopping etc.
?Ensure high level of customer service and outstanding brand experience for the customers.
?Ensuring a positive relations with brand Principals
?Participate in annual budgeting process and monthly targets
?Prepare feasibility/business plans for new locations
?Prepare periodic MIS reports and analysis
?Ordering merchandise based on sales forecast on annual/monthly basis
?Managing stock & ensuring an appropriate stock to sales ratio & ideal stock location wise
?Supporting inter shop/location stock transfers
?Assisting in rolling out brand wise promotions
?Planning the marketing calendar and participating in marketing activities involving events, campaigns & PR
