A large progressive and successful corporate holding company in the retail/furniture industry is looking to employ an individual who can manage and optimize all retail business operations within the region to maximize top line sales and profitability.
The successful candidate must have
Matric qualification
Relevant Degree / Diploma with a NQF level 6
2-3 Years retail experience
SAP Management Reporting
MS Office Proficiency
Experience in a micro/macro environment
Your busy and challenging day will include but not limited to:
To manage and optimise all retail business operations within a region to maximise top line sales and profitability
Ensure regional sales objectives are met
Maximise product related incomes (club, margin, delivery, extended guarantees (EGT), comprehensive insurance)
Monitor external environment for potential opportunities and threats
Ensure effective implementation of merchandising and marketing plans
Monitor the effective implementation of required visual merchandising standards
Attraction and retention of customer base
Effectively managing all purchasing transactions
Manage and control all stock
Manage and secure the regions retail assets
Analyze and assess profitability and formulate improvement plans
Implement retail policies, procedures and administration standards

Achieve regional sales objectives
Liaise and communicate with the chain merchandise and logistic department regarding quality, ranges, trends and deliveries etc.
Monitor and control the condition of company assets
Identify security risk issues and taking corrective action
Coach and assist store managers to formulate appropriate business performance improvement plans to rectify any deviations
Implement and ensure that all stores adhere to company policies, procedures and directives
