On their weekend off, they normally work the Friday morning and the Monday afternoon, which affords them a ‘longer’ weekend off. The Store must remain open during Mall hours as this is a prescription by the respective Malls. The Stores are staffed to meet this requirement. Staff receive shift allowances for hours worked between 18h00 and 06h00 as prescribed by the BCEA. Staff receive compensation for work on Sundays and Public Holidays according to the BCEA.
