Job Description:

• Acquiring new customer sales through the Retail store and promotions and converting to sales.
• Up-selling existing customers from narrowband products to a variety of Broadband solutions and/or a combination of various products and services offered by COMPANY Connect.
• Providing exceptional product knowledge on a variety of COMPANY Connect products.
• Consumer satisfaction and sales.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Acquiring new customer sales through the Retail store and promotions and converting to sales.
• Up-selling existing customers from narrowband products to a variety of Broadband solutions and/or a combination of various products and services offered by COMPANY Connect.
• Providing exceptional product knowledge on a variety of COMPANY Connect products.
• Consumer satisfaction and sales.
In outlet:

• Accountable for cash and stock
• Accountable for sales
• Accountable for stock shortages

Maintain high quality merchandising:

• Good housekeeping / product display / P.O.S.
• Ensure correct pricing displays.

Manage the following:

• Warranties
• Repairs
• Returns
• Monitor and report against asset register
• Communication in outlet and with HO
• Manage and account for all cash at outlet level
• Liaison with support teams internally on any problem areas
• Ensure that quality assurance is maintained and all relevant documentation is compiled and completed accurately
• Ensure that resolution of customer queries are dealt with in relation to the sales process
• Keep abreast with the latest technology and packages on offer via training
• Ensure quality controls and measures are adhered to regarding RICA, and credit vetting processes
• Acquisition of quality customers and alleviation of fraudulent transactions

Minimum requirements:

• Matric
• Bilingual (Speak, Read, Write two of the following: English, Afrikaans, Zulu, Xhosa)
• Minimum 1-year sales experience in a Retail sales environment
• Knowledge of the ISP industry and products desirable
