Retail Sales Supervisor

Our company is currently seeking to employ a Retail Sales Supervisor who is experienced in the employment life cycle. This involves the recruitment, hiring, monitoring, performance evaluation etc. of all site location personnel. You will be required to lead the team in capturing photos of our guests, producing quality photos in photo books and selling these photo books to our guests whilst providing an exceptional customer service experience with a smile.

Responsibilities:
· Providing a strong leadership presence and control on site, while ensuring that all customers receive good service and quality products.
· Work together with the team to meet sales targets and achieve sales records at your site.
· Lead by example when executing the Capture, Photo Production and Sales process.
· Understand and perform Capture, Photo Production, and Sales process to the highest standard and assist with upskilling team to achieve the Happy Snappy Standards.
· Resolve customers queries on daily basis.
· Complete stocktake and stock orders.
· Cash ups.
· Opening and closing of the site.
· Managing performance throughout the day which includes, checking targets on our in-house system, following up on set goals and completing daily checks.
· Monitor labour costs by cutting hours when appropriate, and setting daily targets to help boost staff members throughout the day.
· Review the current week's progress, day-to-day analysis, and week-by-week analysis to report back to Head Office.
· Assist the Head Office with ad-hoc recruitment tasks.
· Identifying training needs and provide coaching for staff members whenever necessary.
· Monitor individual staff strengths and report back to Head Office.
· Dealing with staff discipline.
· General administration.

Requirements for this position:
• Willing to work retails hours – this means public holidays, weekends and festive periods.
• Highly proficient in the use of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Professional, Google docs.
• Able to manage numerous subordinates simultaneously whilst ensuring the highest standard of service.
• Able to build effective relationships across the firm in order to gather information and deliver results.
• Comfortable in managing people and their performance.
• A proactive individual with a 'can do' attitude and able to tackle multiple projects at once .
• Proficient and well-spoken in English and to some extent Afrikaans.
• Able to plan ahead and balance competing demands will be a key factor in being able to promptly deliver high quality.
• Proven ability to motivate and lead high performing teams to meet KPIs and targets.

You have:
• Relevant tertiary education will be highly advantageous but not essential
• Your own reliable transport with valid SA drivers licence
• 2 – 3 years’ experience within a management role
• Strong understanding of the customer services and sales
• A bubbly and extroverted demeanor
