A leading Established Meat processing plant in Cape Town that specialises in a full range of emulsion products and hams, is seeking to employ a Retail Shop and Butchery Manager with a minimum of 3 Years’ experience in the field to manage the daily running of the butcher shop. Experience in working with Red Meat is essential and the ability to communicate fluently in English is very important.
The Position is available in George.
Duties will include but are not limited to:
• Responsible for managing the retail shop and butchery,
• Controlling of stock,
• cash ups and daily banking,
• opening and closing store,
• Managing & training of staff,
Requirements
• At least 3 years retail and butchery manager experience
• Valid Driver’s license
• Excellent problem solving capabilities
• Strong interpersonal and conflict management skills and leadership skills
• Cope well under pressure and manage a large staff complement
