An opportunity exists for a mature and experienced professional to join an upmarket boutique coffee store, as the manager of their Flagship Store in the V&A Waterfront.
While not an essential requirement, the successful candidate is likely to have experience in the premium hospitality industry in addition to substantial senior management experience in managing a high end retail brand store. The candidate will also be able to demonstrate a commitment to the highest levels of service quality. REQUIREMENTS:

The incumbent is required to meet at least the following requirements:

EDUCATION

· A matric is essential
· Relevant tertiary qualification a recommendation

· Ability to lead, motivate and retain staff
· Ability to train, develop and mentor staff
· Resilience to pressure and a taste for challenge
· Sales, logistics and management competencies
· An excellent command of the English language
· Good organisational and administrative skills with close attention to detail
· High levels of numeracy and literacy
· Good computer skills (MS Office, Internet, E-mail)
· Strong operational experience
· Merchandising and store presentation experience
