Retailers and Sales Assistant, Westville
Salary: R6 000 – R7 500 with commission
Area: Westville – Kwa-Zulu Natal
Job Purpose
To serve all Consumers with the highest standard of customer service as set out by the company. To offer professional recommendation & retail the relevant hair and skin care brands to meet the customers’ needs in line with the supplier’s recommendations. To ensure that the store is maintained at the company standard, well organised and merchandised as per company planogram and that all policies, procedures and controls are followed.
Roles
Customer Service:
To welcome & serve customers as they enter the store and provide outstanding customer service as set by the company.
Determine customer’s individual requirements by consulting with them in detail to ensure you meet their needs and expectations
Business Performance
To achieve budgeted store sales targets & individual targets as set by the company.
To be part of any company strategy within the store and to ensure successful execution of company strategy.
Brand Knowledge
Compulsory to attend supplier training to ensure that you become an expert in product recommendation and customer advice
Ensure you up to date with all product knowledge to ensure that you give the correct advice to customers
Store Responsibilities
Attend store sales meetings held by Store Manager to discuss sales performance & company strategy.
Conducts general store housekeeping to ensure that all areas are kept neat and tidy
Responsible for salon maintenance and security
Assist with general store duties when required
Operates point of sale system to record all purchases & receive & process cash or credit card payment.
Maintain records related to sales
If applicable, to conduct blow waves and relevant hair treatments as per company standard.
Stock Control & Security
Follows the company procedures regarding the pricing of stock and operation of the point of sales system
To manage weekly stock checks of allocated bay and report any stock discrepancies to Store Manager
To assist the Store Manager with monthly stock takes
Maintains the visual merchandising standards within the store in accordance with the company planogram
To remain alert at all times to ensure the security of the store and merchandise
Completes any other tasks as may be reasonably requested from time to time.
Reporting
To complete the attendance register daily
Report any un-attendance / sick leave to the Store Manager.
