RETIREMENT FUND ADMINISTRATOR

Full scope retirement fund administration.

MAIN ACTIVITIES:

• Processing claims (withdrawal, retirement, divorce, death, funeral, disability, dread disease)
• Preparing investment & disinvestment documents
• Processing monthly reconciliations
• Processing investment mandate switches
• Processing Section 14 transfers
• Processing individual transfers
• Producing management / trustee reports
• Updating member data
• Preparing benefit statement documents & checking samples
• Audit preparation
• Resolution of member queries
• Loading daily prices and monthly returns
• Fund maintenance

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Matric, with Mathematics and Accounting
• Industry related qualification (COP / Programme in Retirement Fund Management )

EXPERIENCE / SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Minimum 7 years EB experience inclusive of exposure to IMC / unitized funds
• MS Office
• A thorough knowledge of the Pension Funds and Income Tax Acts, accompanying PF Circulars, Regulations, Directives and Notices
• Knowledge and understanding of Adjudicator determinations
• A high level of accuracy with attention to detail
