responsible for the close supervision of all Returns Centre personnel and procedures in order to facilitate timely & accurate receipting of stock returns and timely & accurate processing of all required documents and completion of process flows.

to maintain control over of all aspects of operations and maintain an effective balance of communication between management and all Returns personnel.

Principal duties & Responsibilities
• Hands on supervision and training of Returns personnel (Selection, training development, motivation, review and control of Returns employees to assure continuity of efficient operations)
• Manage personnel to ensure proper count and physical inspection of merchandise
• Prepare all Returns areas for physical inventory and inspections.
• Oversee proper warehouse maintenance and safekeeping.
• Responsible for minimising shrinkage of product.
• Responsible for establishing staffing schedules.
• Requires a flexible work schedule.
• Maintain an excellent standard of housekeeping within the Returns Warehouses.
• Ensure that all staff is provided with adequate tools and resources to carry out their job functions.
• Continually monitor processes and activities to identify and minimise/eliminate waste
• Customer, supplier, Sales and Product manager liaison
• Punctuality is not negotiable.
• Assume overall responsibility for staff welfare, leave requests, sick leave management etc.
• Stock Adjustments
• Delivery note authorisations

• Working knowledge & understanding of channels of supply involved in distribution.
• Min 5-6 years’ experience and understanding in the IT Sector i.e. distributor/vendor/reseller and/or relevant tertiary education
• Proficient in Microsoft Office particularly Excel (ability to manipulate data for transactional & reporting purposes)
• Proficient in Embrace
• Understanding of Retail requirements beneficial
• Own vehicle with valid drivers’ license essential
